Trench coats for shorter fatties?
Despite the cold and snowy weather, I've been searching for a trench coat to suit my plus-sized, 5'4" frame but haven't had any luck. So, dear fatshionistas, do you know where I may find one? I typically wear a size 18/20 on top, and a plus-size 18 in most coats/jackets. I've seen a few satin trenches (I think Torrid had one once upon a time), but am not interested unless it's a satin-cotton. I can't wear full-length/ankle-length coats, due to my height- I prefer something that hits just below the hips/above the knee.
I'm in Canada, so I need a Canadian friendly retailer that ships here (sorry, no Old Navy, Avenue, or Lane Bryant, sigh). I will be in NYC for a week end in Feb, so if there are any NYC retailers that you can recommend, I'll set aside a few hours for shopping. :-)
