I have loved LB for years, and could always walk into the store and find (too many) things I wanted. Now... nothing. The prices are ridiculous and everything is, for the most part, pretty ugly and just not my style at all. It seems like there's no casual clothing anymore - 90% of the store is for people who work in an office and have way too much money to spend.

I suppose this is a good thing, for now, since at least I can save some money since nothing at LB tempts me lol.

The office clothes are still off the mark, though. I worked at LB for a year and they would officially only make the suiting things in the fall. When your store sold out, that was it. No more would be shipped in. This meant we'd have some leftover pants and things, but if you needed a suit (and c'mon, people can need a suit year-round!) in, say, April, you were totally SOL.

YES, I hated that. Thankfully Catherine's carries suiting year round, which is where I've gotten mine. But I had to turn away a lot of customers who came in asking for suits when I worked at LB.

You know, it's weird. Because I work in offices all day, but am young. So, I need casual clothes AND I need work clothes. I can find neither at LB. What's the deal with that?

Their suiting options are horrific- aside from high prices and poor cuts, I find that the zippers die in any of their pants within a month (this is whether the pants are too tight, just right, or too big- doesn't matter). Then, the butts are cut weird in all of their work slacks, too. Bah.

The casual clothes are WAY over priced and awkwardly cut. The necklines on their stuff just trips me out- they do that weird, super high v neck that flatters no one .

I agree - everything is cut really awkwardly for my body type. The ONLY thing I can count on is their right fit work pants. I also totally hate how their inseams are nowhere near consistent. Half the time I need a tall and half the time I need an average. In one particular pair of pants I almost needed a petite.
