Introduction (2.0) + Dress help?!
Hello, buxom beauties! I'm Akilah, I'm 16, and I'm a long-time lurker turned member. Seriously, I love all of you, haha. I've gotten so many great ideas and tips from you guys, and I decided that I wanna contribute too. =]
Anyways, I'm in dire need of your assistance. I'm going to be competing in the Plus Teen USA pageant, a pageant specifically for plus size teens. It focuses a lot on fat-acceptance and having a positive body image regardless of your shape and size. What I need help with is:
1.) I need an evening gown<$200, preferrably. I've already tried IGIGI and Kiyonna, but they didn't have anything I liked. I'm open to online stores, and I'm a native southeast Michigander, so if anyone knows of any shops in the area that would be helpful as well. I DON'T like Sydney's closet, so I'm gonna have to rule them out.
2.) Businesswear. I'm never in any business-like situations at my age so I don't really know what to wear. I'm still quite young, so I don't really wants pant suits and such just yet. I just want to look classy while still maintaining my youth, so to speak.
3.) FINALLY, I need shoes for both outfits. I wear an 11w/12, so shoe finding is kind of a pain for me. any suggestions?
I looked through old posts trying to find what I need, but none jumped out at me.
I AM 5'10, and a little under 230 lbs. I wear a large shirt, size 16 pants, and a 14/16 dress.
