A question about flying United Airlines and a few pictures for clarification

Hi there, fatties.

I've looked through the airlines tag and didn't find anything directly pertaining to this. Sorry if I overlooked anything.

My mom, sister, her boyfriend, my boyfriend and I are all thinking of relocating from mid-Missouri to North Carolina, so we are going to take a week long trip to the areas we're interested to decide if we want to go through with it. Which is all just fine, except my mom made all of the travel arrangements for us and I've just found out we're going to be flying with the dreaded United Airlines, bane of fatties everywhere.

What I want to know is what is deemed "too fat" by United Airlines. I've tried googling an answer but mostly all I've found are articles with comments like, "About time! Last time I flew I had to touch this guy's sweaty elbow the whole time because he was slopping all over my seat and then when I came back from the bathroom he'd eaten all of my food. Fat ass!" and so on. So now I'm sad, angry, AND worried. So I'm asking anyone who might know: will I be able to squeak by or are they going to pull me out of line and make me pay for an extra seat that I might use maybe an inch of? I'm generally a size 24 and last I checked my measurements were about 53-42-53. My sister is smaller than me, but also fat, and has larger thighs than I do. Also, because my mom booked all of this through Priceline, we don't have any idea what seats we'll be in yet, so I can't guarantee that I'll have the safety of being seated next to people who love me and doesn't care if my fat squashes up against them. I'm considering heading over to the airport and inquiring ahead of time, but I'd rather not if I don't have to.

Here are some pictures for clarification. They were pretty much the only full body shots I could find, so excuse the boobalicious-ness and awkward family fun. Oh, and the top I'm wearing in the last two photos is too large and makes me look a bit wider than I actually am.

The non cleavage-rific pictures are of me (in an extremely ill-fitting bra), my dad, and my sister (who will also be flying). She's gained some weight since then but it's still fairly accurate.

Honestly, I could probably get my boyfriend to pay for the extra seat if I have to, but neither myself nor my sister really has the money for it. Also, I don't really fancy being publicly persecuted. I'm really worried about this, so any help would be very gratefully appreciated.
