Sports bras in Seattle....

Jun 09, 2009 20:33

Where in Seattle can I buy a solid sports bra for my giant boobs? (40DDD)  I'm used to wearing a sports bra over my regular bra to hold them somewhat in place, but I can't find mine and can't work out without one :(

Thanks!!

To tell you the truth I have yet to find one. I live in Seattle too and will keep my eye out in my adventuring. I'm a 40DD and the best I've found locally was a piece of spandex crap that gave me uniboob and didn't not prevent bounce.

This bra really, really works. I used to wear 2 bras to prevent bouncing until this bra. Not cheap but worth it.

The frog bra - don't bother. The 3 Reasons bra is ok for lower impact.

The best best best sports bra I've ever found I got online. There may be a local place that carries it. Oop, yes there is: I bought mine online from Title Nine and they have a location in Seattle.

They call it the Last Resort Bra. It is the Enell bra. It is the only product Enell makes, I believe. And it is freaking amazing ( ... )

yes to the Enell! Best freaking sports bra ever.

If you can go on-line, you can usually find one on eBay for a lot cheaper than the $65-$70 something they are retail.

There is also a store locater on the Enell website that could be helpful if you want to try it on!!

I got a Freya sports bra at Zova Lingerie. It's a lingerie shop that sells regular and sports bras in sizes up to 46K. My mom, my sister and I are all plus size and got excellent service and fittings (my mom has never had a correct fitting before) and beautiful bras there! They'll even keep your size on file and call you when new bras that fit you come in.

Here's the sports bra I got. http://www.figleaves.com/us/product.asp?product_id=FRA-AA4002

They're located in University Village in the Montlake area. http://www.zovolingerie.com/locator.php

I am useless on this topic, I just wanted to throw in a "Whoo! Seattle!"

I got one of mine at Lane Bryant in BellSquare. And I know it's not local but the *best* sports bra I've ever got was from Junonia: http://www.junonia.com/thumb.htm?tl=2&ldid=18&sdid=33

The V-Neck Double Layer Bra: http://www.junonia.com/detail.htm?sid=149018&tl=2&ldid=18&sdid=33

My boobs stay-put without constricting my chest or breathing.
