Review: It’s been a while since I stayed updated on this series. I had to reread the whole thing again, because I’ve forgotten and I kept getting it mixed up w/ “Veritas.”
The sequel to “The Breaker”, starts off w/ Shioon having losts his superpowers is now back to being a regular joe schmoe and getting bullied by various other super power users. However, there are several organizations out to kill him, bully him, or use them.
The pace of the story is slow, that’s why I had waited so long to stay updated on it. By chapter 19 he’s still powerless and getting his ass whipped on a daily basis. The only thing interesting to note is that even though his ki-center is broken, he has an unknown source of healing power. I figure he’s still going to be bullied and beat on for at least another 20-50+ chapters, so I’ll wait until there are more chapters because I hate chapters ending on cliff hangers. I still love the artwork, and the plot looks promising.
