Oh, goodness! It seems we have a lot of new people in town, and it seems to have happened very suddenly.

Does anyone need anything? Help, cookies, a friendly ear? I'm Father Mulcahy, the town priest, and I'm happy to do what I can.

A priest?

Well, that certainly does make things feel a little more familiar.

How are you, Father? My name is Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. I'm very pleased to see a man of faith all the way out here.

If I may ask, what religion do you follow?

Very pleased to meet you! If I may ask, how would you prefer to be addressed? Sir Integra?

Of course you may ask! I don't mind at all. I'm ordained in the Roman Catholic Church, but I used to be a chaplain in the Army, so I'm happy to perform rites from other religions for those whose faiths differ from my own. I find the different religions of different places and times fascinating!

Sir Integra is indeed what I'm called at home. It's a good formal medium, so it should do well for now!

What the-- First vampires coexisting with regular humans, now friendly Catholic priests that don't want to dismember my men or give me a massive headache with fanatical ramblings? What is this place?

Ah, I see. I come from the Church of England, so I'm aligned with the Protestant faith. It's strange -- you don't strike me the same way as the Catholics that I deal with back home. You seem much more kind, and your willingness to accept the rites of other religions is such a refreshing change of pace from the fanatics that I'm used to.

I hope you won't take it the wrong way if I tell you that the idea of a priest that realizes what faith is all about has significantly brightened my day.

Oh, goodness. I can only imagine what kind of world you might come from, and on behalf of all priests, I do apologize. I hope you haven't suffered too badly at their hands. Well, an Army chaplain must minister to the faith of his flock, whatever that faith may be. If we refused to serve some of the men, I don't think we'd be treated very kindly.

I certainly don't. In fact, I take that as a great compliment. Thank you!

Haha, "suffered" would be an understatement, but I think that meeting you could help me put that aside for quite some time.

Are you located at the church across from Black Pond? I'd like to see if I could stop in sometime. I'm long overdue for a visit.

And by all means, thank you for being such a pleasant change of company!

Oh dear me. I'm so terribly terribly sorry.

I am, yes! Please stop by any time. I'd be very happy to see you and chat with you about whatever you'd like.

You're very welcome, I'm sure!

It's quite alright. It seemed to come with the territory of my line of work.

I'll definitely keep that in mind! Actually, will you be free Friday evening?

I see. Perhaps when we meet, you can tell me what that line of work is. I'd be curious to know, if it isn't too personal to you.

Certainly I will! Feel free to drop by then.

((OOC: I already started a thread for them! I have edited it and forward-dated it, though, so that it can take place on Friday night. http://community.livejournal.com/aternatopia/328998.html))

It's not extremely personal, but it is rather unusual (and somewhat gruesome). If you're not among those with sensitive stomachs, I'll gladly talk with you about it. After all, honesty is important when talking to your priest, isn't it?

I'll be there!

(( OOC: You are such a sweetheart~! Thank you so much! ^^ *goes!*))
