Update on Birthday...
Well here is the latest update from New York...
The guys took me out last night for my Birthday!!
It's was just Ryan, Mike, and me...
I started out the day by venturing out into the city on
my own.... and I didn't even get lost. Woo!!
While Ryan and I waited for Mike to make it into the city
we stopped off at a place called Candela for Happy Hour...
We caught up on the day and had a couple Margaritas, from there we
met up with Mike and went for dinner at a placed called
The Phone Booth, interesting little place.. drank another
Margarita and a double shot of Tequila...from there we were
off to a place called the Urge, (gay bar), the guys were pretty
excited to see what my reaction was to the place... it was pretty
quite at first... I had 2 Spiders to drink at first... then all of
a sudden while I'm not paying attention, I look up and there are male
Go-Go dancers up on the bar... Talk about a Red Flag.. LOL
The guys apparently found the need to tell each and every dancer that
it was my birthday and continued to give me dollars to give the guys...
After another shot of Tequila, a shot of something that I have no idea
what it was, and 2 cosmos...we were off to another bar...
This time it was a place called The Eagle... this was a seedier
little gay bar...we walked in and ordered another drink... this place
was interesting and a shock to my system at the same time... I think by this
point I didn't really care too much due to all of the beveraging..
After starting my drink, I turned around and found myself being exposed to
gay porn on the TV's and to guys "making out" in the dark corners of the bar...
even when we went up to the roof to smoke... so yeah, it was an interesting night.
I did have alot of fun though, there is never a dull moment out here in New York,
and having amazing friends like these... you can always count on having new and
interesting experiences.
I definitely love my friends.
