Room 417, Sunday afternoon

Jan 07, 2007 13:32

There's no shows needing to be downloaded, the common rooms can be scary if you're not in the right mind for it, and it's Jaye's last day of freedom before classes start.

Hm. This calls for a phone conversation.

After a handwavey phone-call, D'anna waited for Sam near 417.

Sam waved to D'anna, "Thanks so much for the gifts! They were great."

"So, we ready to invade Tyler's room?" Sam asked, pitching her voice just loud enough that Jaye might be able to hear her if she were paying attention. "Torture her until she comes around to our way of thinking?"

D'anna raised a hand that was holding a box of chocolates, "All ready, cheif!" She grinned, "and use tickling as the first line of... defense? Offense? ...making her see things our way!"

"Is Jaye even ticklish?" Sam wondered.

D shrugged, "No idea, but it sounded like a more valid threat than shaking pom-poms at her."

"Especially since I don't have any," Sam cracked up and knocked on the doorframe. "Jaye? Are you here?"

"I'm so terrified to know what you're talking about," Jaye says, already frowning at the doorway.

"Vader, The Tick and hot wax." D said. "Which would slide off the roof faster?"

"Dean Professor Mr. The Tick is probably the most aeodynamic," she says thoughtfully.

"Actually, if we're talking falling off the roof, it really doesn't make a difference. Galileo posited that..." Sam started explaining, then realized what it was she was actually explaining and stopped. "Er, just, aerodynamics would make more of a difference if we were using a catapult to get the longest distance."

"In that case, Vader." D said. "He's got that whole helmet thing going for him to help with the wind-breaky stuff ...and possible fall breaking stuff."

"If you guys actually have a catapult and hot wax on the roof and have hogtied the dean and one of the teachers up there, that'll make you the awesomest people ever," Jaye decides.

"I knew we should have done that before we left," Sam said as an aside to D'anna. "Besides, the catapult's too heavy to put on the roof. Er, assuming we had a catapult, which of course we don't."

"We could get one." D responded, "and use it to serve drinks and scare off Freshmen and other new students during the party."
