wow, what a beautiful night! the moon is out and full and the sky is a dark navy blue and just so grand. i laid in the grass for the last 2.5 hours talking to jay, watching the stars and fireflies, enjoying the cool night air (though it's apparently 91 degrees)...sigh, this is the life! simple things, you know. good conversations, family, beautiful scenery, ahhhhhhhhh!
sooooo exciting news!!! i am going to seattle tomorrow! taking greyhound for like 38 hours, so i'll get there by thursday afternoon :) whew...but i am stoked. laur is back so i am gonna stay with her some of the time, and jenny is moving in to her apartment in renton, so she'll come by. good times. jay's picking me up at the bus station and then we'll go to the barbeque and KARAOKE! jozie's giving blood and jay's got some south korean songs to share, so it should be fun. i'll think of you all night long ames...though hopefully i won't run into any firefighters ;)
i'm working at the taste of tacoma festival and making just enough money to finance my trip up there and back and buy some drinks. so that's koo. only downsides? 4 days on buses, laaaate nights that i haven't been used to ;), and i had to sell my tickets to the texas vs. baylor/tulane game and the championship game too :( some lucky bastard gets to cheer on the longhorns while i'm sitting on a bus and shoveling food. ha ha, but it's worth it. laur and the girls promised to go out every night. i don't know if alex and jon are back from spain yet (em's not), so that kinda sux. but there will be plenty to do ;)
AFTER THAT...4th of july and corn de-tassling! whew...
