More Absolutely Amazing Art
This is just a start of a lot of things I wanted to share. I'll edit this later.
While I've just gotten back to working, after a 4-6 week vacation, I've also felt like sharing some awesome things I've found, mostly recently. At Otakon.
I have fallen in love with Nostromo's AMVs. Mind you, not all of them are fantastic, but he just keeps getting better and better. His latest video, Auriga is available in 60 frames per second. It's like a whole new layer added to the already awesome level of 1280x720 resolution AMVs.
I got two prints by someone who goes by the name Tirael The first is called
.glance back.. The other one is called .Temptation., and the prints I have are much darker, and I like it that way.
I got 1 print by Jinny Liang, but the picture I got isn't available for showing on the internet.
There were a good number of AMVs shown at Otakon, and here are a few that I found.
Drama
Unfinished Business - I didn't know what Afro Samurai was until I saw this AMV, and I definitely want to see it. I think I confused Afro Samurai with The Boondocks, for some reason...
A Wicked Mirror - Vampire Hunter D video made by JuniperTay. She's an online associate I share video concepts with.
A Raven's Pride - I haven't seen many Princess Tutu AMVs that I don't like.
Action
Baccano Swing - A quality upbeat action video using Baccano.
Romance/Sentimental
Love's in Your Eyes - Not a great song, but the concept and editing are well thought out.
The Gift - I am not so much caught up by the AMV, but by how awesome this footage is.
Upbeat/Dance
Word Play - It's a silly video. It made me laugh a couple of times.
Comedy
The Harassment of Kyon - I wouldn't ever have watched this video if someone told me what it was in advance. It came out of nowhere, and I couldn't stop laughing.
