I'm not dead. Just very busy. o-o Very very busy.
The lab job has been cool so far... though I feel a bit out of place. The other workers are mostly all MTs (lolwesome)-- all middle aged and/or married pplz. Hrn. AND I'M THE YOUNGESTTTT! @_@;; OH WELL, they are very polite and helpful and friendly so that's good. If it's one thing I noticed that held through with my expectations it is the AMOUNT of DRY HUMOR in the lab, wow. xD I was warned about it earlier though... tch, those scientists. xD
Cindy - a fellow MT who is training me - reminds me SO much like Dr. Cox. o___o She even says the "what have you" a lot, too. Argh?? WHAT. But she's awesome and she's totally the mom type (at least I got those vibes!). She lent me some money for dinner, even (I was a dork and didn't bring moneys - stupid hospital cafeterias dont accept ccs, hrgh). ^_^ Oh yeah so like, woot, still training on Cerner (the network)-- I got my own lab coat today, too. Have my own log in and email and everything. So today I filed a lot of lab log-ins and cancellations and even a call-in. ^^ Manually? I handled a bunch of blood tests, urine, some stool, etc. And one CSF, even. Wooow. So the specimen come in dif. cotainers and tubes and some go by colored tops so they are more easier to discern which goes where. o-o I also know where to drop off the not registered tests - outpatient services, yap. o-o Though it's in another completely different floor away and I have to zoom through several hallways to get there(WITHOUT DIRECTIONAL SIGNS, ARGH). I hope I get the feel of things and open up. ^_^;;; Last job I had I barely saw anyone and people quit so fast I didn't have time to get attached. ;;; Though I do know I'm slow to open up to people in the first place. :P
ANYWAYYYY. My arm feels weird. I don't know. It's not the muscle, feels more like the vein... I guess I slept on my arm. THOUGH I NEVER HAD THIS FEELING BEFORE, SJHJhjdf. I hope it's just that- from sleep, at least. Hoping it'll go away tomorrow. ;;;;;; *worry*
