Fandoms written in: Supernatural and Doctor Who

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
I set a goal of 100,000 words for 2011. I fell just short, but still around 20,000 words more than last year.

What's your own favorite story of the year?
I find it hard to pick a favourite. Of my Who fics, probably a toss up between The empty space where you were and Can't escape you which sort of follow on from each other, and also Unravel me, as you hold me together. Of the Supernatural fics Running from you, running to you, Not what they should be and Aeternus Eternus.

Did you take any writing risks this year?
Not particualry. I did start writing in a new fandom, which was strange after writing almost exclusivly Dean/Cas for 18 months.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
Hmm...I want to write a Captian Jack fic, brand new to Torchwood, but he fascinates me. Definately want to get a few original short stories actually finished. I started a few new ones this year, but have yet to finish any of them. Also want to make some progress on getting a longer orignal story on paper instead of just rattling around my head.

My best story of this year:
Hmmm, I don't know, I really like all of the ones I mentioned as my favourites, but probably Can't escape you, as I really like the emotion of it.

My most popular story of this year:
Aeternus Eternus my DCBB fic and Running from you, running to you were the ones that received the most comments.

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
I guess some of my Who fics, but I'm new to the fandom, so thats not really surprising. Also maybe Not what they should be, I enjoy writing End!Verse fics but they always seem to have less readers.

Most fun story to write:
I had a lot of fun writing my spn_gen_bigbang fic Follow me home. I enjoy amnesia fics and it was a lot of fun to play with Dean's visions of Cas. I am also finding it a lot of fun to write Eleven, he is just so random, yet old and complicated, he seems to bring out poetic short fics from me.

Story with the single sexiest moment:
Probably Running from you, running to you, a coda for 6.20 with Dean and Cas. As usual I have written very little porny scenes. Just this one and in my DCBB fic Aeternus Eternus. I also really liked Not what they should be, that I guess is an aborted porn scene.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
I don't know, I always find this hard to answer. My Who fics have been great for exploring aspects of his age and the losses he carries, haven't really shifted my perspective, but have been a great way to explore his character.

Hardest story to write:
I don't know, most of my fics seemed to have flown onto the paper this year. I would say the Who fic I am writing at the moment, it was meant to be dark and psychological, but has gone off in a different direction causing a bit of writers block. As I'm so new to Who fandom, and the show has such a long history, finding my way to writing a fic with an actual plot was also hard, this is only the second one that is more than a coda.

Biggest Disappointment:
That I haven't written more original fic. I have a couple of plot ideas on the go, just never seem to sit down with them and actually get words on paper.

Biggest Surprise:
That would have to be that I wrote my 23,000 word DCBB fic (Aeternus Eternus)  in three weeks. Considering last year it took me around three months to write a simialr word count for the DCBB.

bowties are cool, eleven/amy: the romance that'll never be, cas has phone issues he'll call you back, writing, meme, dean/cas have corrupted me, what?...i'm so not procrastinating, spn owns my soul, the girl who waited, kim is being random, this is me muttering to myself, doctor who: love of the impossible, roranicus pondicus, dean "i think i'm adorable" winchester, warning: pointlessness ahead, hyper sexy eleven
