Angst? Yes but it certainly isn't the end for these two.

Thanks for reading. (I had no idea how to warn for this as one of my beta's saw the ending as them dying, though I thought it was hopeful.) Glad you enjoyed it.

I like how this is both heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. The sadness and resignation both Dean and Castiel had, but also that determination.

I want to cry. All the angst & love. This is why Dean & Cas make for such a brilliant love story because it isn't far fetched that this could happen.

What a crazy ending! But very fitting. Although angels don't have souls, I have always viewed the connection between Castiel and Dean as being something akin to soulmates because Castiel had literally branded Dean when putting his soul back into his reconstructed body. I find this utterly depressing but also strangely hopeful as far as endings go.

Your characterizations were great and you managed to keep the sense of fate being an inevitability throughout the entire story, even when the characters were given a chance to try and alter their future. I really like that. Plus, being paired up with an amazing artist also brought your work to life. <3

Thanks, glad you thought the characterisation was good and that the plot worked. I was hesitant about doing a time plot to begin with but really enjoyed writing it. My artists is amazing, I still can't belive the beautiful work that I was lucky enough to have accompany my fic.

aw thanks hun, happy you enjoyed it. So pleased the ending worked for you (though not surprised, we both love the angst lol) I was worried how it would come off, and if I needed to warn for it. These two will find a way if anyone can...
