Hahahaha oh man I was crying while translating this and I DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE jesus christ guys I wish you could at least understand japanese so you can see why it's more touching in japanese :(b Anyway, the very roughly translated death scene.

Tir stared at Windy.
'You got to be kidding! Three hundred years before, you burned my best friend's village! Now you are again doing evil things with Black runes to the generals of this country! Lot's of people are losing their lives! Who do you think you are?!'
'Hmm, so that's it...' Windy smirked while answering.
'Tir...so foolish. You yet do not know anything about the Soul Eater's power, right?'
'What was that?!'
'Am I wrong? Up until now, haven't people you care for been dying? Do you really think it's my fault?'
'You're saying it's different?'
'Of course~ But up until now you haven't realised it was your fault, right. No matter, because right now, right here, the Soul Eater shall become mine.'
At that, Windy raised her right hand. Light flooded the area, and Windy's sinister laugh could be hear.

As the light faded, Tir's eyes were caught and he looked aghast. Blue clothes. Vivid chestnut colouring. Tir's best friend, Ted stood there.
'Oyaoya, please don't misunderstand. Ted has something he wants to say to you. I did not purposefully bring him, he just wanted to express his gratitude. Now, Ted.'
Windy focused on Ted fully. 'You have something you want to tell Tir, don't you?'
'Yes, Master Windy...' Ted took one step towards Tir. 'Tir...it's been a while.'
Ted smiled brightly as he said it. Even though Windy was there, Tir was unable to take his eyes off Ted. No matter what, he seemed to be the Ted Tir knew. The smile, the voice...
'Ted...what are you...why?'

Tir found his hand raising on it's own accord, his body unable to move. Right now, the Soul Eater was acting on it's own. Before Tir's eyes, the events played out. His heart felt like it was breaking. He wanted to yell out 'Stop Ted, stop!!'
But all Ted did was take Tir's hand gently, [somethingsomettthiiing I fail]
'Now, Soul Eater, from him, can you feel it? [and basically he says what he does in the game :|b]' Ted commanded in a shakey voice. At the same time, Ted's hand and Tir's hand both reacted in the same way. [blahblahblah more kanji talking about the crystals around the valley? Anyway, the Souleater makes Ted collapse and Tir runs to him, while Humphery comes out from behind Tir and scares Windy away!!]
'Tir...' Tir's face was the first thing Ted saw when he opened his eyes. 'Windy...?'
'It's going to be okay, she ran...'
'I see...'
[lol more kanji BUT here the end of this paragraph which is important:] Tir lifted his face, which had a look of misery.
'Tir..don't make that face...I chose to do this...'
[hoho more kanji which basically decribes Tir's misery and the REFLECTING OF THE CRYSTALS!!]
'But why...'
'Tir, it's fine. For freedom, even my life ...I don't need it. Seeing as I already lived my life. For three hundred years, even. So, that's why, it's fine...'
'Don't, Ted...I want...to be with you a lot more. I want to be with you a lot...'
'Thank you, Tir...'
Ted raised his shakey hand and held on tightly to Tir's right hand.
'I have given you a lot of pain...but you, even though it's me, thought of me as a true friend...'
'I haven't stopped thinking that! Because you're Ted...'
Ted sighed heavily and Tir's eyes became watery.
'Tir, I, though I don't know why, and even though I was alone for three hundred years, I was happy. So even when I first met you, I got the feeling that it was meant to be. That we would become friends... for the purpose of meeting you, I lived... I wonder why I felt like that, right? Maybe fate...'
'That's...'
Though Tir meant to tell him why, Ted stopped him.
'It's good, to leave it there. Because now is the present. But Tir, I wasn't lonely because you were there. Though it was a short time, it was fun...'
'Stop! Ted, don't say stuff like this...'
Tir held Ted's hand close, but the hand had already lost a lot of strength. [some kanji I can't make out but basically Tir is holding Ted closer? And gripping his hand harder.]
'Tir...my...best friend...'
At Ted's words, Tir felt something occur. [A LOT MORE KANJI but Ted basically shakes more. I think.]
It felt as if the two were meeting again. Exchanging greetings through the misery, and for the first time, exchanging tears as well.
And now, it is ending. Ted met Tir's eyes and said one final thing.
'I have...one last thing... thank you... don't lose to the rune...'
[and complicated kanji more! But uh. Ted dies in Tir's arms :Db]
'Ted! Tedddddddddd!!'
