I'm No Angel, But Neither are You
Work today was annoying. I’m tired of working with babies who can’t walk and talk. Though there is a really cute one named Chase. OMG he makes the CUTEST faces ever. I taught him to make a face like a rwaring kittie today.. it was so cute... he’d make the face and I’d go rwar (because he couldn’t rwar).. but it was so adorable.
So this girl I worked with today has a baby that goes to daycare in our Primrose and we started talking just about our job and stuff that we do. Like we talked about the movies and how she really wanted to see The Dukes of Hazzard but she didn’t want to take her baby, Cameron, because he would start crying and stuff. I met her boyfriend the other day when he came to pick up Cameron. Anyways we stared talking about work and she goes “Yeah, I can’t wait till I turn 18.” Like... What?!? I didn’t know what to say. She’s 17 and has a baby... just wow. It’s so amazing. I mean I would never choose to have a baby at 17 but she seemed so happy with her baby and her boyfriend. I just think it’s amazing that she can have a baby, a boyfriend, and a full time job and be happy as ever. I don’t know.. it was just.. refreshing? I guess that’s the word. I mean everyone I know is no where near close to being able to take care of themselves.. let alone a child and she’s just over there all together. God I thought she was like 25 at least.. but 17? Wow.. I think it’s great.
So other than that.. I don’t have to work for two days!!! YAY!! I’m excited about that. Tomorrow.. *sniff* is my last Adam day.. and then Sunday he’s gone.
I don’t know why I’m so sad. I mean hell yeah I’m going to miss him... my god I’m going to miss him so much, but I know that it’s for the best. For his sake it will make things better.
Things will only get better from here...
