Valentine's Day
Today is february 14 which means: V-Day. Now in years past i've dreaded this so called "holiday" because i've always been single and 'woe is me'. but i am 'woeing' no more. This isn't time to wallow in self pity. There's no need to pity being single.
besides love isn't just romantic. There are many forms of love which we all should celebrate. We should take this day to just love and respect one another. That would be true love.
This holiday don't just think of your significant other. Think of all the significant people in your life that love you and make you who you are.
Hell, you don't even have to know the people. When you're walking down the street smile at people. Say 'hi'. Open doors for people. Start up a conversation with an elderly person. Make someone's day. Spread the love.
