Well here goes. I'm ready for a bunch of people to get pissed off but I don't care, as long as Chris isn't pissed. I know Chris will actually listen and take into consideration what I say, that is why I bother ( Read more... )

"The UN would have wanted to do it a whole other way which would have taken much more time and money."

HMMMM...time and money, time and money, time and money... sounds like that is exactly what we needed. It seems like the Bush administration felt that this war would be quite simple, or at least they rushed into it like it was. Time passes and nearly 1000 of our young people are dead and we find Bush cutting from exact education plan that he established. Maybe if we had a little more time and money things would be different, but lets move on.

"Remember Chris, we are a Capatilist country. It's not the governments job to take care of the elderly and the poor. That is the charities job and or churches." Ok, this is something i have never understood. And i am probably about to sound like a faggot-cock-sucking-democrat right now, but i dont give a shit. America has alot of fun playing vigilante when it comes to foreign affairs. we always find ways to "bring justice" and "keep the peace". But when it comes to the homeland, the elderly and poverty filled cities are given the dick up the ass. "We arent some socialist country asshole, you should be lucky you have food stamps"--we give them the big fat one right in the cornhole. But boy do we love war! "It all comes down to what you value, at the end of the day do you want to be putting food on someone else's table while they sit on their ass and don't work?"
Rig let me tell you, i would rather pay taxes for some asshole that is on welfare than pay taxes supporting a war where we brought down a dictator that never had any will to directly effect america or my family. here, lean in an let me tell you a little secret. At the end of the day its going to the be the drug dealer on welfare that steals your car and robs your house, not an evil dictator, lets be realistic.

As far as economically, i can say that i pretty much agree with you and think that you have a good point, i just wanted to point out how bad that looked on Bush's track record. and when you consider the fact that war was a priority for bush, and the minor detail that bush spent 47% of his time on vacation during his first year in office, you can tell that "recesion" was not on his mind. He expected to ride out the economic growth that occured in the clinton years and it just didnt happen, thats not his fault, but hey... And i dont know, but im sure you can develop some good economic stratagies on that ole ranch of his, oh wait, he was too busy gon' huntin, and catchin' "armadillas". ahhaha that was a joke.
