In what has come as NO SURPRISE WHATSOEVER my car is pretty much rooted - one of the cylinder head gaskets has blown and water has been flooding my engine. Also my radiator is somewhat buggered. Two different mechanics both gave me $800 - $1000 price ranges to fix the problems (and they haven't even given the car a general service, something which I am sure will uncover MORE problems, such as borderline transmission, worn brake pads and at least one worn tyre) and quite frankly I don't have that kind of money and even if I did there is no way I would be prepared to spend that much on an old, brown piece of shit.
So... from this point on I am car-less, and probably will be for some time. The DJ company I work for will probably keep me on anyway (albeit working less gigs) and either drive me to gigs or lend me a car, which is very, very nice of them.
I do plan on getting a new car, but have to raise some capital before I consider another purchase :( To that end I've already enrolled at Centrelink (sigh) and am looking at a number of sound-related short courses to get some better qualifications.
Anyway, enough doom and gloom - time to look towards both the positive aspects and the amusing ones - and on that note, here's a little clip that comes courtesy of the wonderful happytraveller - leave your brains at the door! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!!!!!

That's all for now cholos, see you when I do!
