The best week of my life
I know I'm going to leave so much out of this, but a lot of this is just a blur lol.
So this last week has been amazing. I got to see Alter Bridge four times and was on t.v. again haha. This last time topped them all though. The camera focuses in on me, and then pans out, and gets my bro, Tim. That was at the Jimmy Kimmel Show. I didn't think I could sit through his show, but I did lol.
The most awesome part about this whole thing is that at the Jimmy Kimmel Show, we got to be right in front of the band, which was about a foot. I was screaming for Scott Phillips and at the end of their set, he comes walking up to me and HANDS ME HIS DRUM STICKS! Well that was just fucking awesome considering he's been my favorite drummer for the past five years or so. So then he shakes my hand and says "what's up bro?" Haha, damn! I didnt know what to say and I dont remember what I said. I was too damn nervous and surprised he even acknowledged me. I'll never forget that. Then Tremonti shook my hand, and the same with Myles. Go to Jimmy Kimmels web site and watch the video...I look stupid again lol, but I'm not chewing gum this time.
Then we went to Las Vegas for the Olympia, and to see Alter Bridge one final time. Those guys are so awesome. They singled us out and said how awesome it is having die hard fans following us around in different states. Haha, I felt like a stalker.
Ronnie Coleman took first place again. We saw Aarnold Schwarzenegger, Sly Stallone, and Tripple H there as well. Big deal lol. Bottom line, good times. I cant wait for their next album.
