Book Trailer: Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran
One of my favorite authors, Michelle Moran, recently posted a book trailer for her current project, Cleopatra's Daughter, due to be released in September 2009. I'm very excited about this book because I loved Nefertiti and The Heretic's Daughter, her previous novels! I must confess, though, I'm not sure I "get" the idea of book trailers. Some, like this one, talk about the plot of the story by re-enacting scenes from the book. Others will give the historical background of the characters, or will feature authors reading excerpts from the book (most effective for me, personally) but it's going to be interesting to see if this relatively new PR media takes off. I know Amazon's integrated videos for some of the superstar authors, but I haven't seen much with mid-tier and newbie authors yet.
Anyway, Cleopatra's Daughter!!
