Even if it doesn't turn out to be feasible or ideal, it's nice to have a plan.

I think this assessment made a good point about the difficulties of working with individuals in the criminal justice system. I have never worked in prisons, but spent a long time working with people in the criminal justice system who were court mandated to a former employer of mine, a residential drug treatment program. There is just so much sadness there, but I think you could handle it, definitely.

I have no illusions as to the nature of the job, which is why I'd rather work trial center versus federal. Like county in the States versus the pen.

I spent a fair chunk of my teen years in detention centers, not that they come even close to big boy holding areas...We shall see. Thanks for ze link.
