Oh, Elliot.  The pickup has been wobbly whenever I go over 50 mph.  Wobbly isn't fun.  I figured the alignment was wack, but it's something to do with the suspension and it's going to, more or less, cost a paycheck.  Luckily my parents want to buy it off of me when I move on, and are chipping in.  (They'll probably be buying it cheap, btw.)  ANYway, why is it that whenever you don't have a ride you always want to go somewhere?

Luckily I checked out some library books yesterday.  It wasn't until I was out the door that I realized I'd actually checked out two that were literary criticism.  To read for fun.  Eh well.  One is essays on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle what what, and one is on Lewis Carroll.  I'm not pleased with Tim Burton infringing on yet more original source material trying to make it all mind blowingly awesome!!!11  I'm so over Tim Burton.  And there's no way he could ever be nearly as weird as Carroll.

Aaaand sorry Jude Law.  But Russian!version!Watson! might be the hottest Watson evah.  Apparently the Russian Sherlock Holmes series is pretty darn good, although the Granada is probably the most popular.  I'd never read the stories but had at least seen itty bitty bits of those on PBS.

I think a friend and I are going to make it to Shutter Island this Saturday.  I've heard good things.  The only bad thing I've heard is that it's too long but it's a Scorsese movie, c'mon.  You know what you're getting into.
