Well, crap. My laptop's screen recently went limp on me. As in it cannot stand on its own, just falls down. So I've just been propping it up with things and that's been fine. But today I turned it on and the screen was dark. It was on and functioning normally because I could barely distinguish icons, just dark. Really dark. Too dark to do anything. Fn plus the little sunshine up key did nothing. Guess we're going to Best Buy tomorrow. I can't afford a huge repair and I sure as hell can't afford a new computer right now. I mean, it's five years old, I guess I should've been prepared for something to happen after years of nearly flawless, admirable performance. *sighs*
