In 10 days I'll be off to Chicago for my cousin's wedding! Kind of inconvenient timing right now to be out of town/state for almost two weeks, but I'm not passing this up. Even though it means over 30 hours in the car with my parents. (Yay for iPods!) And then I think we're going to St.Paul, MN to stay with another Aunt/Uncle for a while.
So. Northerners. What do I gotta do in the Chicago/St. Paul areas? I think my dad has lots of museums in mind. I might check out the art departments out at the University of Chicago and MCAD. I've got a friend living up there now I plan to meet up with. But restaurants, bars, landmarks? (Heads up; I really don't care about where Obama drank his morning coffee and stuff.)
ETA: Oh man, I came *this close* to joining Twitter because of peer/celebrity pressure today. Luckily the handles Hopscotch and Chautauqua were taken, so it was easy to bail. I am spared. Although, Hoptauqua isn't taken. NO!
