So I really hate meta. I've expressed this before. Part of me is mad that this semi pivotal/important episode was so silly and full of it. But what the hell, once we got past all the haha's hehe's of the beginning I really enjoyed it. I didn't know Castiel was going to show up, and he definitely helped things. My favorite line was probably "You should've seen Luke." His helping really wasn't disobediance, I liked Sneaky Castiel. I wonder if we'll see what Dean kind of warned him about with Castiel really needing Dean someday. And I just gotta say, I'm not a slasher, (lord love the writers for making fun of such people/namely Wincesters). But come on. Dean/Cas, Jensen/Misha have some sexy sexy chemistry there what with the eyes and the looks and the growly voices. *fans self*
Will we see The Prophet Chuck again? What did he see to make him want to give up hope and kill himself? And what more must he testify that Zach would bring him back to life for? I like that the prophet has problems and isn't really even a religious or even a righteous man. I'm not crazy about a lot of what Paul says (dude never even met Jesus), but look at his story. Or for that matter, take the prophets Jay and Silent Bob. Not your picture perfect people. Though awesome.
I was kind of confused/annoyed by Lilith's charactarization here. No creepy little-girl mannerisms from this actress. I don't know if that's due to direction; Lilith is taking things more seriously now, etc. Or just another pretty face who doesn't research their character like Cortese. I've always really dug the creepy/innocent/little girl aspect of Lilith. Now that is some awesome mythology.
And next week? Long lost baby brother? Oh, puh-leeze, Show. If you were actually going to pull that it'd have been early on and it'd have had to be exactly like
One Father's Sons. Wee-Chester is a demon or sumpin. I didn't get a good look at him but he did seem pretty darn cute.
