Hi, I'm Siouxsie. Sometimes I make icons. I barely ever post them because it seems silly posting them on here where no one can find them. SO, I'm looking for a buddy ol' pal/friend/amigo/chum/sidekick*/commrade/bff/homeboy/chica/etc. that would like to make a community to post icons together and/or let me join a current community. I'm a swell

You probably recognize me from tcg_exchange. I think your icons are beautiful... And I would definitely love to be buddies/ pals/ friends/ amigos/ chums/ sidekicks/ commrades/ bffs/ homeboys/ chicas/ etc with you! If you'll take me. :D

I already have a community created - erythrae. No one is watching it, and I have only made a couple of relatively small posts to it. So you could join that, or we could create a new community. Either way I'd be happy. (I can code, too, so I can make a pretty lj layout!)

WHAA! I'm surprised someone actually answered hehe! It's kinda a weird request but I just I don't know I thought it'd be more fun this way?? I think it'd be fun to join up with you because I think we share some similar fandoms and have TCG in common :D

I remember the other day I joined that FMA comm you have and was like squee! I am very sad that fullmetal_lims went kapoot because FMA has a special place in my heart for now and foreverrrr !

I think I'm totally cool with your already established community unless you want something else because I suck at coming up with creative names :3 I was trying so hard the other day because I have to make a blog for a class and it's hardddd ;_;

Haha, now I'm getting all excited and organize-y... I think I'm going to delete all (or most) of my previous posts because they are really old and I feel like I could do a lot better nowadays. Also, I think we are going to need a new layout. Something that isn't just all me, but us! Maybe you could make the banner, and I could pick the layout? Or we could split it all half and half?

Although as you probably know from alchemy_abc it seems I am epically fail at finding people who are interested and roping them in. Are you any better at that? Are you interested in having watchers?

I realized I never had an invite to a community before haha, I felt all elite. Well I actually like your idea about splitting up the work where you do the layout because technically once upon a time I coded but I haven't in so long that I think I'd have to rack my brain a little! Although the banner is cute! Actually, I don't know should we do it reversed, like pick a layout then make a banner so we know the dimensions ^_^ *brain dies of thinking*

No suggestions are good! Any with alchemy_abc I think starting up is just hard, I'm actually not modding anything right now but god I think people just kinda suffer until they get affiliated with tcg_exchange lol :3 gah I don't know you seem to be doing things right with affiliating with the whole entire world. You know what I've seen smaller icontests do in the past? They would have a week and then if they didn't get enough submissions (like I don't know only 3 or 4) they would not extend it but put up a new theme, and then after like 2 or 3 weeks they'd put up a voting post with all the themes combined. I GUESS

Ahhh that is a good idea. I'll look around for some layouts. I actually really like the one you have in your personal/tcg exchange journal we're posting in now. Should I assume you like this kinda color palate? Or do you have any other preferences? (Technically I could find a layout that I liked and then change the colors but that's a pain in the buttocks.)

LOL. Yeah, with alchemy_abc the major goal is to affiliate with them. I think I'll try out your idea for the comm! I'm getting pretty impatient for activity.

But anyway with erythrae, do you want to have a lot of people watching the comm, or just have a place to post icons that isn't with all your tcg stuff? Because at the moment she (our community is suddenly a chick >_>) doesn't have any affiliates at the moment so it could go either way.

Lol our community can be a girl, girls are sexy, wait where am I going with this. I didn't think about affiliates, see I totally was forgetting something important there! I think I just mostly want a place to post but if it becomes an active thing where we're posting like at least once a month (I don't know just enough where it's not dead, we could rock affiliates, I bet we could get people from the tcg at least that do icons too, THEY HAVE TO LOVE US out of obligationzorz

Oh I like it!! :D This is random (and tiny) but I like the yellow header and how it matches your icon there haha) BTW I really like the manga coloring on it. I think I might fail at manga coloring (omg, I never do it). And that's why I never do it: because I never do it so I'm scared to do it. I was in a lims once, a bleach one, where we had to do manga coloring twice, and both times I was so terrified I was going to get eliminated

You shouldn't be scared of coloring. Its a lot easier than it's made out to be... it's just time-consuming. If you want to dip a toe in, check my memories. There are a lot of really neat tutorials I've put in there, it's how I learned what little I know <3

Yeahhhh, I need to do that too. I've also been meaning to get a head start because they actually said I can do that which is awesome, but it looks like I'm going to end up starting on time. Bwahahaha.

Oh just to get this straight the banner is 777 and the area with the links are ~666 right XD When I first read that I read it totally wrong I think. ANYWAY cool, I should probably work on that since you've worked this all out these last few days woot!

oh mood theme: I've never been super good about mood themes (like my current journal doesn't have one at all because all I use it for is communities not blogging). My last lj had a bleach one but it wouldn't be worth tracking down because the images weren't great i was just like ooh bleach /lazy. I think we should totally find an anime mood theme but I'm not sure what to suggest since I don't have any saved. I could go hunting right now at people I follow icons who might make mood themes! I'll tell you if I find anything!

I changed the layout - it makes more sense now as it's an icon community. Just tell me which two icons you want up there and boom. Done. (Right now there are a bunch of Avatar ones I shoved up there.)

Hey! Well gosh, I think it looks snazzy (is that a word)?? I'm a little sleep deprived mwahaha. I hope you didn't think I died, although I sort of did! I went on vacation to visit a friend in another state from june17-july 6 and I got the flu while i was there lol, that kinda ruined things just a bit! I've been feeling a little flustered keeping up with LJ but have done major clean-up today so your timing is good!

In any case I still want to do this and I feel like this will definitely work! I love the avatar icons, the coloring and text are really good srsly!

Something about replying to you makes me ramble. Um, I like how the textless icons look but all my textless are like super bright and cheery and I'm not sure about that. Are these ok
