Give farsketched's icons a home!

Hi, I'm Siouxsie. Sometimes I make icons. I barely ever post them because it seems silly posting them on here where no one can find them. SO, I'm looking for a buddy ol' pal/friend/amigo/chum/sidekick*/commrade/bff/homeboy/chica/etc. that would like to make a community to post icons together and/or let me join a current community. I'm a swell

Okay so no affiliates At the moment. That's fine by me. I imagine both of us will be busy ironing - I saw you signed up for the 26 icon things at anime_abc? (randomly - you can set up like a test post if you want. Also, I think you can edit the sidebar? The text there is daaasated)

And so yeah, I have an idea for the layout - I think it will be perfect, it's got mostly black and grey but like an unobtrusive orange for the titles, very schmexay. I'll have to search around for it, though, I didn't save the link, dumb me...

And thank you! I hope the idea works with alchemy_abc! I hate that too, when there are so many social categories and there aren't any more icons that I really want to vote for, but I have too anyway. Haha. I was planing on like having SC for every like... 5 icons. Although that could get crowded if exactly five where done, and then it s like first, second, third, SC. Only one would be left out. >_> Yeah, might need to rethink that. Anyway, there hasn't been any set rules for an SC in the comm, so i can make uo e rules at this point. :P

Oh I like it!! :D This is random (and tiny) but I like the yellow header and how it matches your icon there haha) BTW I really like the manga coloring on it. I think I might fail at manga coloring (omg, I never do it). And that's why I never do it: because I never do it so I'm scared to do it. I was in a lims once, a bleach one, where we had to do manga coloring twice, and both times I was so terrified I was going to get eliminated.

Omg, why do I ramble so much. I should probably set up a table or something for my anime_abc claim. Omg, I hardly ever do claims, it's been forever. It's just with this one y'know it has to be alphabetical, and I could do it on the spot but maybe I should come up with an idea for each letter before I begin so I have that much less effort to put forth and keep up with it haha. I love TenTen (the anime I picked). I think I've been a little M.I.A. the last couple of days because I totally randomly watched the entire series since I haven't seen it in years I just like the art. Oh, I'm rambling again. I was just thinking I could make a table with like the subjects underneath the yet-to-be-made icons like A-Aya, B-Bob, etc.
I totally visit LJ on my iPhone lol it's hard. I've tried to respond to trades and it doesn't work so well :3 I always think "omg it would be so practical if they'd create a TCG app" and then I realize that it's only like .00001% of the population that plays TCG's.

You shouldn't be scared of coloring. Its a lot easier than it's made out to be... it's just time-consuming. If you want to dip a toe in, check my memories. There are a lot of really neat tutorials I've put in there, it's how I learned what little I know <3

Yeahhhh, I need to do that too. I've also been meaning to get a head start because they actually said I can do that which is awesome, but it looks like I'm going to end up starting on time. Bwahahaha.

I haven't seen that anime. I guess I need to, eh? :D

OMFG I NU RAIGHT? Sometimes I have to ignore trade requests because I know I can't like upload the pics to Photobucket. It drives me nuts. ><

this is weird but... The banner dimensions in the layout are like 777 pixels width. Technically I could make that little bar that has the archive, recent, user info and crap in it longer, but at the moment it is one step from 666! DUN DUN DUN! You can make the banner any height you want. Looking fowards to seeing your graphic <3

Mood theme : I hate the little smileys, need anime. (Or if al else fails disable the images and just have text) Any preferences? :D

Oh just to get this straight the banner is 777 and the area with the links are ~666 right XD When I first read that I read it totally wrong I think. ANYWAY cool, I should probably work on that since you've worked this all out these last few days woot!

oh mood theme: I've never been super good about mood themes (like my current journal doesn't have one at all because all I use it for is communities not blogging). My last lj had a bleach one but it wouldn't be worth tracking down because the images weren't great i was just like ooh bleach /lazy. I think we should totally find an anime mood theme but I'm not sure what to suggest since I don't have any saved. I could go hunting right now at people I follow icons who might make mood themes! I'll tell you if I find anything!

I changed the layout - it makes more sense now as it's an icon community. Just tell me which two icons you want up there and boom. Done. (Right now there are a bunch of Avatar ones I shoved up there.)

Hey! Well gosh, I think it looks snazzy (is that a word)?? I'm a little sleep deprived mwahaha. I hope you didn't think I died, although I sort of did! I went on vacation to visit a friend in another state from june17-july 6 and I got the flu while i was there lol, that kinda ruined things just a bit! I've been feeling a little flustered keeping up with LJ but have done major clean-up today so your timing is good!

In any case I still want to do this and I feel like this will definitely work! I love the avatar icons, the coloring and text are really good srsly!

Something about replying to you makes me ramble. Um, I like how the textless icons look but all my textless are like super bright and cheery and I'm not sure about that. Are these ok



oh doh!!!

I have a fricken ton of icons to post, I think I should organize them into smaller groups of like 30 or so and then space out my posts or something
