Tsubasa Through Time. 2: 1997

Tsubasa Through Time. 1: 1995 & 1996
Because now is exam period and I'm a huge fail when it comes to this (failed at the one that does matter, didn't fail at the one that don't matter ^^' ) ... I'm here and post old gifs of Tsubasa because that's what's imortant now. That's how my life goes. Making priorities. And here comes my priority :D
Btw this post says "Tsubasa" ... but it's pretty obvious ... I just can't only concentrate on Tsubasa because Takizawa is like the CUTENESS in person ever since. *_____*
And because recently we realized there are only a few dancing gifs from those days back then I tried to add a few of those, too.
(and because of that I ended up sitting at this post and the prepartions for it for hours... days... ^^' )
So the unusual high amount of gifs here is dedicated to pinkpapyrus for being as awesome and wonderful as she is :)))) (and I will write you more letters of deep feelings later <33 )
1997. I just watched a few videos of that period again and, gosh, how bad was the image quality >_______<
Moreover there was no drama in that year so all we have are video recordings from tv which were digitized later on.
But before we enter 1997 let's don't forget another of my favorite moments in 1996 XDDD ( I'm going to add this to the 1996 post later on )

Coming Century perfoming "STAY GOLD" (and "Theme of Coming Century" - which is one of the greatest songs that have ever been release because JOHNNY K wrote the text for it. And when staff wanted Miyake Ken to perform it once again in 2008 he literally RAN FOR HIS LIFE TO NOT DO IT XDD /OT)
to be exact say sang STAY GOLD together with the Juniors = Takki, Tsubasa, 2 boys (from Kinpachi (?)). two times on Music Station. Because back than it was still okay to perform the songs over and over again even if it's not a single.
Takki and Tsubasa organized a farewell party for Okada in the dormitory back in the days when he had to "leave" for V6 / Kamisen telling him that it's gonna be scary from now on XDDD I was a little bit surprised to hear that. V6 debuted on 1995.11.1, T&T entered the Jimusho in the same year. And so did Okada. But Okada is that person who's never been a junior. How did he manage to make friends with "real" Juniors and even get a farewell party XD
1997
Let's enter 1997. The first batch of gifs might also be from 1996 because the vhs was released in February 1997 but this are just smaaaall details. Let's just take a look at this.

Sho and Tsubasa. They were best friends back in those days. The purikura team XD It often sounds like they were a duo but that's not really true. They didn't have any duo songs but they performed a lot songs together and spent a lot of time together making purikura and stuff. There are going to be a few more gifs to reflect on that relationship later on.
As for now... there are birds on Tsubasa's clothes. Just saying ^^
Here we have Takki filming Tsubasa. Because Takki loves kameras and filming. And he's going to be a kameraman in his next life. If he's not going to become a Johnny again XDD
As for their relationship at that point. From the videos we have I couldn't say when exacty they entered their Cold Age. (both hadn't been talking to each other for 2-3 years. It's not that they hated each other. They just didn't talk. Which we'll see might have been pretty hard in fact that they constantly had to work together ^^' )

For this program they ended up always splitting the Juniors in two rival groups. Tackey Team and Tsubasa Team.
Those Juniors who had to join the Tsubasa team for an episode could be assure they're going to loose big-time.
But for now. Here we have Tsubasa in a wedding dress.
They had to wear costumes.
Juniors in the Tackey team could choose between different job costumes.
Juniors in the Tsubasa team could choose between different female clothes costumes. Tsubasa got himself a wedding dress.
and finished second.

Tonisen moderated MJ together with Takki and Tsubasa. ... or more like ... Tonisen moderated MJ while flailing over Takki and Tsubasa. It Wasn't it Inocchi who started calling them "Takitsuba"? Ah, I don't remember right now. I'm going to check on it later ^^

THE HAIR XDD

That song was performed by Takki, Tsubasa and Sho; having Aiba, MatsuJun, Toma and Nino has as background singers at least for that recording. When they performed it earlier that year it wasn't MAIN.
Some KinKi Kids program from the time after their debut. They always gather strange people around them, don't they? So in this two very hilarious women played a dokkiri on Takki, Tsubasa and Kawano visiting their room at 4:30 a.m. I love this video. They write things on their body and enjoy themselves way to much if you consider those are only ~15 years old boys XDDD Love it. They write stuff on the boys' body and in the end Tsubasa puts ice cubes on Takki to wake him up XDDDD
What is also interesting is the fact Tsubasa says that's unusual that he wears a bath robe while sleeping ...... but every time evil cameras enter his room while he's sleeping he wears a bath robe. XD On the other hand he laughs about Takizawa when he says he likes wearing bathrobes who btw didn't wear a bathrobe in this clip ...
You know the world is evil, when:
1. people break into your room and film you while sleeping.
2. fangirls make a gif out of this to share it with the rest of the world until forever.
Takki's favorite sempai during that time was Koichi. As usual. Tsubasa's favorite senpai during that time was Go. And he definitely tried imitate Go's looks, or maybe it was Go trying to imitate Tsubasa's look ...? XD

KinKi's 硝子の少年 performance from their debut period. I LOVE the fact that a part of the choreography was Takki dancing as Koichi shadow right in front of everyone else, even in front of Tsuyoshi. I wonder what happened with that part of the choreography / who took over that place later on. ...
And Tsubasa. dancing dancing dancing.
I love how you can watch all those old MS performance where they were background dancers and even though the quality is horrible you will be able to spot them because often they even got an own close-up.

In the '90 this back bending move was pretty popular and part of many choregraphies (also V6's). I haven't seen it for a while ... O.o

... and then somebody had the great idea to let Takki and Tsubasa to have conversations in front of a camera. As you can see, Sakamoto is dying from laughing and Nagano is like "Fight! Takki, Fight!" XDDD
What I love about their conversations is that Takizawa is usually talking all the time. Talking, laughing, talking, smiling, jumping around, always knows what to do in front of a kamera and how to entertain people. But back then when they had those conversations it was more like: Tsubasa says something, Takizawa sometimes goes like "......eh? *don't get what he's talking about* ......eh? *dunno what to say* .... eh? *can't act like usual* " XDDDD

I won't tell you how much time I spend on this. But. Much. And it's been worth every second XDD
