I really just don't get why the defenders of the screwed-up female worgen model are so rabid. And it's not even just on the Awful Forums, either. Some people-one of them a mod-started insulting and strawmanning me at TVTropes.
Yes, the mod in question has a sore spot about "furries." But considering how the revamped model looks (Disney cartoon dog with what are at least trying to be bedroom eyes), it makes no sense that people don't still think "furries" when they look at that.
Maybe it's the stupid teeth. But even so, what I get from the side view isn't "ferocity." She looks scared out of her mind. That expression doesn't say "I will rip your face off." It says "Please, don't kill me! I'll do anything you want!"
All in all, the damn thing simply does not measure up to the male worgen model, or to the goblin models of either gender, in terms of either design or fitting what seems to be the theme for the race. Its ears aren't even on right.
But still-the sheer rabidity from people who claim to like the model (and people who claim not to care one way or another) is even more bizarre than the model itself.
