If and when naga become playable in WoW (and trust me, there are
indications that it may, in fact, be a matter of "when")...it's gonna be a bigger "Schrödinger's shark" even than the addition of pandaren is shaping up to be.
There's a thread at the Awful Forums. And it appears that it's not enough to insist that there's no way that naga will ever become playable. No, one must be a condescending arse, insult anyone who disagrees, throw an outright tantrum, or some combination of the above.
Oh: and of course, insist that WoW lore is perfect and airtight (at least, when it supports your conclusions). If that fails, back it up with material from the tabletop game (or even fan theories, if that's what it takes).
P.S.: The notion that the entire species marches in lockstep is fan theory, as is the idea that they're water-dependent; the arguments regarding what "can't" be done with a serpentine body
are ludicrous; and yes, I have, as a matter of fact, played through Vashj'ir.
...and yes, I know: the real silliness is anyone being that wanky over a fantasy game.
Also:
here's something that I'd heard about before, but never actually witnessed until recently. (Catching the big ugly bastard at it, that is.)
