Well it turns out that our trusty health service center at Naz has once again misdiagnosed a student patient.
I indeed do have strep throat, and luckily I am now on medication. I suffered all day yesterday thinking there was nothing I could do(cuz that's what the nurse told me) until last night I decided that it was necessary to go to the Urgent Care center in Penfield, where the doctor walked in and said "UMMM YEAH you have strep!" Luckily Patrick took me. Suzy and him have been taking care of me.
We went to 24 hour CVS and my insurance was denied or whatever...so I paid $35 for meds. They better work. I guess it takes about 24 hours to kick in..so PLEASE hurry up. :(
So now I am on antibiotics. I still feel like shit...but yeah at least I'll be getting better soon.. my throat still hurts but not as badly.
I am sooo hungry...But everyone's cooking for the dinner downstairs so there's not much I can do.
They should be done in an hour or so..then I can make my tortellini in brodo.
The food for the dinner smells sooo good! I am sad.
