Apparently it is a religious holiday or...something. Based on the same sect as the god who lit local flora on fire to garner his prophet's attention.

As I've said, ridiculous.

I am still curious where all the candy came into play, though.

[And what the hell he should do with it.]

This holiday seems more for the entertainment of children than out of respect for a deity.

[He can always give it to Lily.]

Which also makes the careful attention of the numerous adults involved in it as confusing as the sudden invasion of sugar.

[Lily gets quite enough sugar in a day. Besides, chocolate stains clothes and Razer doesn't trust her not to ruin half the clothes he picked for her.]

You must have noticed that a great deal of the excitement over the network came from those well past the age at which they could be defined as children.

Not a surprise, if they were all named in a manner similar to you.

[Says the top lieutenant of the Pointy Objects Brigade.]

Regardless, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Ganondorf.

[Well his not!girlfriend was named Nabooru.]

And you as well, Razer. It's nice to have more intelligent sounding individuals here.

[Never mind the fruity sounding accent.]

[At least it wasn't NabooDORF.]

Mm, it is a pleasant novelty.

[A pause, the metallic click of a lighter as he starts on a fresh cigarette. He's finally placed Ganondorf's voice, and it makes him smile.]

...Ahh. You are acquainted with Zelda.

That I am. Do you know her?

[He can't place the sound. So he'll ignore it.]

She and I are decently acquainted. Her guardian finds me a threat to her wellbeing, and she is very well acquainted with a pretty young friend of mine.

If I recall her overdramatic reaction to your arrival correctly...she does not particularly like you. Why would that be?
