A testimony of how God has helped me in difficult situations.
Firstly, a repetition of an earlier testimony (but one that hasn't been posted online), first delivered nine years ago, while at a validictory service for the on-campus chapel at the university I attended.
Even though I didn't know it at the time (earlier, during my studies) God had helped me through the difficulties at the university. Mainly to do with passing exams, but, still, I had His encouragement, and I was able to focus on the questions, and answer them. But this didn't automatically, come, I had to ask, pray, before each exam. Additionally, my family also kept me in their prayers.
Thus I encouraged the others at that service, although Philippians 4:13 did not come to my mind at that time.
Secondly, two sundays prior to the one at the start of this week, I was my turn on the data (projecting the hymns, announcements and sermon notes on the screen at the front of the church hall). There were a lot of technical difficulities. But still I prayed for His help, and I was able to keep calm, despite some nerve-wracking situations. He was there in the situation and there was minimal disruption to the service.
That is all for now.
