15 May--Runs into
Jack Benjamin out in the park. Olore intrudes on the man's book-reading. He's reading the bible, which is allegorical for his own history. Faramir says he's in a book too.
17 May--
Juliet O'Hara arrives tied up. Faramir helps her out. She's been in the village before and is glad to be back, all things considered.
2 June--
Entire thread after Boromir and Henry have left. Also a Denethor post.
Max Guevara has a question about a birthday present for Chris Kent.
Speaks with
Eowyn about various things. It seems Legolas told her she'd be marrying the Prince of Ithilien. Faramir says that there is no Prince of Ithilien. (Yet. Eek.)
Kimberly Hart has experience with losing people.
So does
Arwen.
Has a run-in with
Tabitha (Desire) in which he reveals that his father called him a whore. Perhaps he is, but considering the price he finds a certain peace with that. He wonders aloud if he might be in love with her and she's amused to find that he's so old-fashioned as to respect her.
5 June--Sees
Patrick Jane and, at first, thinks he's seeing a double. No, the nose is way too small. Jane works his mentalist on Faramir, and Faramir wonders how he's doing it--hasn't read the book.
9 June--At the Ribbon, tells
Kerai that Boromir and Henry are gone. Learns that Kerai has met Denethor--felt his grief at the loss of family and drank with him.
13 June--Sees
Draco at the library reading the Harry Potter books. Come on, with titles beginning 'Harry Potter and the' of course they're biased. Tells Draco about LotR for equity's sake, and gets him a copy.
14 June--Has just found out that Glaurnaneth and Glaurmir are gone. Goes to the Sin to see
John Hart at work. Mentions that Denethor called him a whore but that it doesn't really bother him. Really odd buddy time. No lady, since he had that understanding with Glaurnaneth and doesn't really feel like it. Nor you, Captain Hart, because you're a cousin now. And the whole guy thing. Does give the suggestion that Faramir might try giving up control in bed--yes, it's not the man of Gondor thing, but it could be fun, letting the woman of the world (Tabitha) teach him things. He might have a point there.
20 June--It's
Father's Day and Faramir is missing his son. Speaks with
Eowyn and learns that she's seeing a man named Ham. Is actually relieved that he won't have to be her everything when the time comes. (Now, if he'd learned this a few years back, he'd have been way jeluz.)
Another loss for
Tabitha/Desire to see him mooning. She just doesn't understand the loss of his son--it's not her thing. They dance around what is her thing and go to her room for a
private lesson from the modern woman. Faramir has always enjoyed learning things. Yowza.
26 June--Sees
Ivy/Poison Ivy at her greenhouse. Comments on her comfort with nature and the growing season, and they speak of his recent losses. They also discuss Max, as Ivy has just met her and Faramir knows more about her past. Also speaks of the island and dying there, something he hasn't mentioned in a while.
