7 April--Boromir wakes up and answers the door. A man named Shasta is looking for Boromir and Faramir. All is confused because Shasta says he's the boy and the
two children should be men. Shasta leaves and Faramir wakes. Both are confused at where they are and what they're doing. They end up making their way (with help) to the cafe for breakfast. (Boromir finds the cloak he was given in Lothlorien, with the leaf pin.)
9 April--(Monday) The little ranger is out ranging in the park. He meets
Sophie, not recognising her, of course. Is approached by a duckling who doesn't know his name is
Gary, who wants eats. Faramir has nothing but Gary finds a bag with some popcorn in it in the bushes. Faramir helps him get it out and feeds him that, which satisfies both. After this, he is joined by
Shasta, Bree(hy) and Thumper. Faramir is amazed by the talking foal and tells Shasta that Boromir had been looking for him--wanted to apologise for Saturday morning and he hadn't meant to be rude. Shasta understands. They end up going to the stables for a bread and cheese lunch, with Faramir speaking about Minas Tirith (in a much simpler fashion than he usually does.)
10 April--Encounters nine-year-old
Sebastian, who has lost tiny little Ron Weasley. Actually, Ron was taken by Severus and is fine but 'Bastian thinks that the tall black-robed guy was a satanist and that Ron is going to be killed or fed to zombies. Faramir understands nothing but that they must try and find Ron. They go towards the school to look for Shane, who shows up and hears the story. He'll go looking for Ron once the boys are safely ensconced at the cinema (believes the man who took Ron is a friend.) This is all new to Faramir, who finds he doesn't care for nachos and enjoys the movie despite the strangeness of The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is the craziest thing Shane would allow Sebastian to watch.
12 April--
Rich Riddick, 17, is napping on a park bench. Faramir comes along with duck food and the two talk and feed birds. Rich then introduces Faramir to the concept of ice cream. Both are fairly sure they were friends before. (Imagine that.)
13 April--Sees someone (
Lex Luthor) in the street and thinks he recognises him. (It's the no hair. Lex looks almost nothing like Richard.) Lex runs into him, literally, and the overly formal little boy (who called Lex 'my lord') does have to explain that he's not really a little boy, so people say. Ends up helping Lex find the park.
