Digimon 01 - The best anime I ever watch.
I was 11 when I was introduced to this anime and I was sceptical of it at first. Pokemon is much more popular so initially, I thought Digimon is the copycat of Pokemon. But, honestly, I love this moreeeeee than Pokemon. These 8 chosen children and their partners are the best.
How many times have I been rewatching this? I guess I lost count. Back then, there was no internet so I have to wait for a week before the new episode. And, I really hate whenever I hate to go somewhere on the day it was aired because I don't know when will I get the chance to watch the episode. There is only one girl who watched Digimon so I only talked about digimon with her while the boys in my class comparing Pokemon and Digimon. They preferred Pokemon so yeah, there's no one to share my interest with except my sister.
The reason I'm reminiscing of this anime is because a local tv station is showing it once again. OMG, I'm so excited to see these kids. Got a crush on Yamato back then but now, I'm Taichi's fan. But I enjoyed watching both of them actually. Well, my favorite character is actually Mimi. I know she is selfish but she is so cute. Too many digimon died in this anime and I cried each time I watched it. For me, Wizardmon's death is the saddest followed by Leomon. The final episode brought tears to my eyes when they separated with their digimon.
I was excited initially with Digimon 02 but I totally hate it when they focused more on Daisuke. I mean, in 01, even though Taichi is the main character, Yamato was given equal treatment. But, in 02, it was totally Daisuke and I really hate his character. I don't remember much about 02 actually. I rewatched it but it wasn't as interesting as 01. I don't know about the other digimon after that because I stopped watching.
