Cutie and the Beast - Chapter 10
Ohno woke up when he heard someone was giggling near him. As he was still sleepy, he reluctantly opened his eyes to see Aiba smiling sheepishly at him. He tried to get up however his right hand feels so numb as well there is something heavy which prevent him from getting up. When he smelled the nostalgic scent of his little Kazunari, he remembered how both of them spent the night together reminiscing the past.
Sensing his ‘bed’ moved, Nino also stirred in his sleep before finally opens his eyes to see Aiba staring at both Ohno and Nino. As he was embarrassed to be found in that condition by Aiba, he immediately stood up. Ohno took the chance to relax his hand.
“Where are Sho and Jun?” asked Ohno to Aiba.
“They are in the room, preparing for practice later. When we woke up this morning and found both of you are not in the room, they asked me to find you outside. They don’t want to catch both of you doing perverted stuff. For example, found both of you naked after a hot make out session,” said Aiba without feeling ashamed at all. Nino and Ohno are the one blushing to hear that.
“And, you’re not embarrassed if you found us naked?” asked Nino with a glare and Aiba just laughed.
“Ah, I don’t mind. I’m already used to see that. If you want, I could borrow you’re the porn video I get from the human world. I could also give a few tips for you if you want,” again, shamelessly, Aiba admitting his perverted nature. This conversation with Aiba makes Ohno feels nostalgic to remember how open and honest Aiba is. Not to mention, a little bit stupid for not knowing to keep his perverted nature as a secret.
“I will prepare breakfast,” said Ohno, refusing to drag the perverted conversation any longer and get up to go to the kitchen to see what food he has. When he saw Aiba dragged Nino to a corner and whispered something to the human, he couldn’t help but thinking that maybe Aiba is influencing Nino with his perverted thought as well, especially when he saw Nino giggles with whatever Aiba was telling him. So, he just pulled the little human to the kitchen.
“What did he tell you?” asked Ohno when both of them are alone in the kitchen. However, instead of answering, Nino just flashed his trademark teasing smile.
“It’s our secret,” said Nino and winked at him before leaving him alone in the kitchen. Ohno just looked at him as he walked to go to the room and Aiba came to the kitchen to help him preparing the breakfast, as ordered by Sho.
During breakfast, Sho briefed them on what they would do for today. Today, Ohno will have a combat practice with Jun in the morning and magic practice with Sho in the evening. As it has been a while since he was trained for battle and used his magic, it was necessary for him to sharpen the skill before battling the Kaiju princess. If everything was okay, all of them will start the journey to the castle tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Sho also suggested that they keep on practicing while on the journey.
What makes him a little worried and perhaps jealous is Aiba will keep Nino preoccupied during his practice. As Nino is still recovering from his injury, Aiba was ordered by Sho to take care of him. He knows that he shouldn’t feel jealous with Aiba because he knows Nino loves him but he just couldn’t shake those feelings away.
However, after he changed to his combat attire, he felt better when he saw Nino was resting near the combat practice. Jun then told him that Nino was being stubborn and objected Sho’s order to stay inside because he wants to see the practice. Even though Sho was worried with Nino’s safety, he finally let him stay after Jun convinced him that he will avoid getting nearer to Nino.
As it has been a while since he has a physical training, he was easily defeated by Jun. It was very frustrating for him to be defeated by Jun because back when they were younger, he always wins against Jun. Noticing he was a bit tired with the training, Sho then asked both of them to stop the training and take 15 minutes break. He immediately went to Nino who looked worried.
“Are you okay?” asked Nino as he took a seat next to the human.
“I’m okay. It’s just, it has been a while since I practice,” said Ohno. As he feels sweaty and hot, he took off his shirt. Then, noticing how Nino immediately turned away from him, he knows the little human feels embarrassed to see his bare chest.
“Why are you looking away?” asked Ohno with an obvious teasing tone and makes Nino to look back at him.
“Nothing. It’s just seeing you like this makes me… hmm…,” Nino refused to keep talking and Ohno knows exactly what he means by that. But, instead of teasing Nino, he puts back his shirt on and gives a kiss on Nino’s forehead.
“I’m sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable just now, especially after our conversation with Aiba. I don’t have any hidden intention for taking off my shirt. It was just too hot,”
“I know. But, I just couldn’t help but to think about that. Ah, it’s all Aiba’s fault,”
“Hahahaha. You’re the one with perverted thought and you blamed Aiba for that. Anyway, I need to get back. Sho and Jun are calling me,” said Ohno and gave another kiss on Nino’s forehead. However, Nino stopped him from going.
“Do your best in practicing. If you do well, I will reward you tonight,” said Nino and looking at the way he blushes when saying those words, Ohno knows perfectly well what the reward would be. He then kissed Nino’s lips before walking back to the practice site. Somehow, as he thinking about Nino’s promise for him, it makes him focusing more on his practice. He just couldn’t wait for the practice to end and the night to appear to claim his reward.
