I'm home for just a few days following the Italy trip and pre the US trip. I want to make the most of my time off, which means NOT spending all my time on the computer. I find it so easy to surf and explore all day.
Today I've been looking at the Sony NEX, which
gracefruit has been telling me about! It looks phenomenal, but the menus have gotten bad reviews - I want to go try one out and see if it's as bad as all that. I'm not usually faffing about too much but on the other hand, I hadn't ever mastered the PEN menus, so I don't want something that requires too many brain cells. I think I'll go hold one tomorrow.
I also have loads of blog posts that I want to put together for cucina cinzia but those may need to wait til my US trip. Oh, and I need to figure out where I'm sleeping for the US trip!!
I had plans for lots of yoga classes and running, but as we are living in just a couple of rooms for all of us I'm having quite a hard time FINDING anything. I might go out and buy a new exercise get up so I can take advantage of the gym opportunities. I really really need to.
I've also ordered some seeds for an herb garden I'm planning, ordered a few books to read on my trip. I need some way to organize all these various projects - how do other people keep themselves on track for all kinds of different projects and activities, some of which can be dormant for a long time?
I need to gumtree/ebay a few things too, including my scooter and the piano. We don't use the scooter enough to justify it, and the piano is the old one that has already been replaced. I think I'll do that right now.
I also want to try to make macaroons this week. That takes a bit of planning. And I need groceries. So now, I think I will - list my piano, order groceries and then go have a look at the macaroon book and buy some stuff for that project, which I will try to do tomorrow. Get gym clothes on my way to pick up the kids. Take them out for a bit and then come home and make something yummy for dinner. I think I can manage all that. Hope so!
