I now have a Kindle! To quote London Tipton: yay me! So far have ordered Heat Wave (to help me through my Castle withdrawl), New Moon (only for my read along blog, and only because it's the cheapest price I've seen and I want to pay as little as possible for that crap and because I don't want to waste shelf space on the whole series either), and the first eight of the Sookie Stockhouse books because it's pretty cheap there too and again, shelf space.
To those glaring at this and wondering about those alliance updates I promised, those are being worked on. Plotting took a little longer then anticipated because it's the last part and ending, any author can tell you ending something is hard (I'm amazed Rowling was able to finish Harry Potter seven in the amount of time she did and her series is WAY more complicated then anything I have, and better but that's expected, she's published). But good news is, I'm off until Sunday so there will be a massive update. Hopefully I'll be able to get three to four chapters updated this week, and then the rest will be done weekly over the month of January. Or that's the plan anyway, assuming work doesn't screw me over. But considering this is our slow time of the year I don't anticipate that happening.
That said, saw Princess and the Frog and it was as awesome as I thought. Tiana has officially become my favorite Disney Princess (sorry, Jasmine, but you're still high up there) and ditto Prince Naveen as my favorite prince. For the first time, a prince is actually given a personality in a Disney movie. So refreshing. Plus, they helped each other equally. She helped him grow up and mature, he helped her realize that it's okay to cut loose and have fun, and she basically got the restaurant on her own. All Naveen did (and Louis) was intimidate the guys into honoring their contract. So if you want to remind yourself of why Disney was your fav as a kid, go see this movie. It's classic Disney at it's best, and dare I say, a little better?
Next up to see: Sherlock Holmes. Will probably be on New Years Eve or sometime this week.
