Kawa Kon
So I went to Kawa Kon this Valentines Day. Lots of fun, got lots of loot and went to the Spoony Bards concert. Cannot wait until they get their album out. Whenever that may be. Will post pictures soon, I didn't take as many as last year because I was too busy trying to find my way around the maze that was the convention area of the hotel. Plus, a lot of the costumes were mostly repeats of last years but there were some awesome ones. My only complaint is that NONE of the vendors were selling Copic markers. Was slightly disappointed but it probably saved me money in the long run as I didn't spend nearly half as much as I expected.
I've also discovered that there is another convention next month at the St. Charles Convention Center. I may go to that as well, but it'll depend because there's talk of a family vacation that same weekend. We'll see. Personally I'd rather go to the anime convention because at least anime fans are a fun nuts and we're highly aware of our nuttiness. My relatives? Yeah, they think they're perfectly sane. They think I'm bizarre. Yes, I am but I happily admit it.
