Having them go back to the wild is the best possible outcome! I'm just worried that they might not be able to fend for themselves properly. =(

My husband, who does all the wildlife rescue and etc. at the park where he works, says you did exactly the right thing.

Which doesn't make it easier, of course. So sorry!

The goal always was to let them back into the wild. I'm just hoping I didn't do it too early =(( I didn't even get a picture of them before they disappeared. They LOOKED big enough though, and were fast enough, or so I thought.

M. says they can fend for themselves pretty early on; when I told him how long you'd had them, he said that sounded not too early.

OK, that's good to know! Nobody I know here does wildlife rescue, and Internet information can be really unclear.
