Gandalf in the house!
I've finished my first block for the Fandom in Stitches block of the month hobbit themed quilt. Here's Gandalf!
I had quite a bit of fun making this, that is after I took three weeks to dig out the sewing machine and move everything to the new house. I think he came out pretty well for a first try at paper piecing. His hat doesn't line up perfectly, or his staff, but on the whole I'm satisfied with it (perfection was not my goal - permitting myself time to do something hobby-ish and having fun was).
