It's been a good two months since I've written in this. That's proof of how desperately bored I am.
The beginning of this summer went well. I was working and saving up money. I went on vacation to Myrtle Beach with my family and George for a week, which was beautiful.
Then I decided to quit my job at Glen Eddy when I returned. I didn't care for the job and it was also a hassle everytime I had to find a way there. Unfortunately, I didn't have a job assured for me, and therefore have been unemployed for the past few weeks. That wasn't a good idea. I think I'm going to call and ask for my job back, at least on weekends.
Being home for the summer has been very boring actually. All I do is clean, read and research prospective colleges. There have been some fun days though, and it's comforting to spend all morning in bed with the sun shining. Too bad I have no motivation to get my license; it would be useful.
This weekend I'm off to Brooklyn to visit my sister. This is technically my birthday present from her. She's scheduled me a massage, we're going to my favorite, the Tea Lounge, as well as the Bronx Zoo. I haven't been there since I was 10 so I look forward to that.
Alright. That was a whole lot of meaningless rambling.
