I just finished watching the last 5 episodes of Once Upon A Time. What a comeback!!
I'd been losing faith in this series, desperately hanging onto the Rumplestiltskin storyline, but did the writers & actors ever turn that around! Such a drastic transformation! Rumple is still my favorite, but the villains are being genuinely villainous, the motives and pasts are being developed well, the script is 1000x better leading to better acting! I feel like they've finally reached a good episodic pace, not cramming too much in to waste time on tangents. True, there are still some things I think are excessive or bizarre. But for the first time ever, I actually care about Snow White!!
On one level, the fan in me is ecstatic: I knew this show could go back to being great and even surpass season 1! On another level, the writer in me is gleeful to see such a correction in storytelling! I can't believe I'm looking forward to the next episode!
Oh, and if you're wondering, I'm awake because my shoulder doesn't let me sleep much. I tore it a couple weeks ago, and now it's started sliding in and out of place. Weirdly, the sliding/popping feels gooooood. - >.> I don't wanna go to the doctor! You can't make me!!
