Notes: First of probably many! This is set after Season Four of the Tenth Doctor. Rose and her version of the Doctor have gone home. But in Rose's world also lives the Marvel Super Heroes (at least that's the way MY AU works). That also explains why the Fantastic Four are in this. ^_^
"So your world doesn't have a Jack Harkness? Doesn't that make life a little boring?" The Doctor, or John as he was calling himself, asked as Rose and him headed towards the London Eye. He'd always wanted to take a ride on it, but never had. Rose was taking time off of her busy Torchwood/UNIT (she wouldn't actually tell him which) work for this little outing. The blonde gave him a large smile before biting down on the tip of her tongue, that smile always made his knees grow week.
"Well actually..." Rose stopped dead in her traces and her eyes went wide. John looked at her face once before following her line of sight. His own mouth dropped open and he let out a soundless "oh" as he watched the sight in front of him. Four people were trying desperately to stop the London Eye from falling into the Thames. As John’s eyes took in the area he gasped loudly. His hand caught Rose’s shoulder and he turned her to face the river, her own gasp echoing his. There in the middle of the river bed was a giant hole, from his position, John was fairly sure that it went much farther than any human was capable of making a hole.
“I’m guessing THAT isn’t normal?” Rose hit John in the arm before pulling out her cell phone and dialing a number. John shoved his hands into his pockets and continued to watch the scene. One of the men was completely on fire, while another looked like he was becoming a puddle. Then their was the woman who was now standing over what used to be the river, John couldn’t see what she was standing on, but knew she was doing something. She was bleeding from her nose too, so whatever she was doing was hurting her. His eyes traveled towards the last of the group, a man made of orange stone. That was odd. John bit into his bottom lip and bounced on the souls of his shoes as he watched the orange stone man lift the entire London Eye back into place. He whistled softly and nodded as the man made of fire melded the Eye back to its rightful place.
“Well that was a huge waste of time! My boss doesn’t even know what’s going on. Some global peacekeeping force we are.” Rose crossed her arms over her chest and watched as the four “heroes” were cheered and lead away by a few American military men. She shook her head and grabbed onto John’s arm pulling him off.
“But I want to talk to them! That one man can turn himself into flames! Living Flame! Rose!” Rose ignored him and continued to pull him away. That was just what she needed, the Doctor interviewing the famous Fantastic Four. She’d never get him away from them. She didn’t even want to THINK about what could happen if he started to talk to Doctor Richards.
“Maybe some other time. Now, how about some fish and chips?”
