Story prompts week 5-8
Hi folks!
Here are the story prompts for the next four episodes. We want to give you lots of time to use any you like when we get to those episodes. Hope you're all enjoying the amazing stuff this community has generated in just one week!
Never Kill a Boy on the First Date
Prompt 1
Owen seems to have quite a reputation...and thus a back story. Let's hear it.
Prompt 2
Cordelia says upon seeing Angel for the first time "Ooo! Hello, salty goodness! Pick up the phone, call 911. That boy is gonna need some serious oxygen after I'm through with him." Considering how hard she's tried to get between Buffy and Owen- what's her reaction when she sees Angel heading for Buffy. What conversation does she have with her friends about Buffy and boys?
Prompt 3
After Buffy leaves with Willow and Xander to go rescue Giles, Owen says to Angel: "She's the strangest girl!". What conversation follows?
The Pack
Prompt 1
You get the feeling that Kyle, Heidi, Rhonda and Tor have a history of bullying Lance. Flash us back to an instance of this when they are just kids.
Prompt 2
Once Xander has been 'turned' he and the other members of the pack devour Herbert, the school mascot. At the end of the episode, Xander claims not to remember what happened. Create a story the proves otherwise and explores how Xander feels about it.
Prompt 3
What is the zookeeper's story? Why does he want the power of the hyena?
Angel
Prompt 1
Other than the fact that he is 'The Annointed One' we know little of Collin's history. What's his story?
Prompt 2
This is the first time we see Angel's tattoo; it must have a story to tell. How did Angel get it? What's the symbolism of it?
Prompt 3
'Y-you even look pretty when you go to sleep.' Angel says to Buffy as they prepare to go to sleep. Buffy doesn't seem to notice that it implies he's been watching her keenly. Write about some instance when Angel observed Buffy.
I, Robot… You, Jane
Prompt 1
We assume that Giles has had earlier dealings with Ms. Calendar, but this is the first time we've met her. What is Giles' opinion of her?
Prompt 2
Write a story in chatspeak that tracks the first conversation between Willow and 'Macolm Black'- the conversation she told Buffy about.
Prompt 3
Giles says to Ms. Calendar: "I know! Smell is the most powerful trigger to the memory there is. A certain flower or a, a whiff of smoke can bring up experiences...long forgotten. Books smell. Musty and, and, and, and rich. The knowledge gained from a computer, is, uh, it... it has no, no texture, no, no context. It's, it's there and then it's gone. If it's to last,
then, then the getting of knowledge should be, uh, tangible, it should be, um... smelly."
He's clearly a book lover- and there must be a reason for this. What is it?
