Oh, yes, excellent little fic focussing on someone we meet for only a few seconds.

Very thought-provoking.

I'm not sure what size the population of Sunnydale was, but I guess they couldn't all be oblivious - as we see in Gingerbread and the last few episodes. Glad to make you think!

Population of Sunnydale? The details are a little hazy just now, but when Angel is given the amulet to take for the BtVS finale, I'm pretty sure Lilah calls it 6,000. And you're right - some of them must notice...

Very cool. A Sunnydale survivor! (And still - 90 years, and she never chose to move away from this cursed town.)

It looks like a decent size town - I suppose some people must have stayed. I picture them like those who refuse to leave towns by active volcanos or below sea level - it's home and you take the risk. Thanks for commenting!

Growing old in Sunnydale must be the exception rather than the rule, so this was an excellent take of how she did it. I enjoyed the purposely self deluded observations of her little town.

If she's a biology teacher, she should be able to spot the weirdness of her surroundings - and find a survival strategy, even if it means losing her personality. Fun to write about these sidenotes to the series.
