She’s spent decades returning to his favour. Played the menial, eyes downcast, and served her whipping girl atonement. And now her Master, trapped like a fly in amber, needs her eyes and spirit to bring the world to him. The land of opportunity, become her pearl-rich oyster.
She wanders the continent, absorbs its sensations. A pulsing, vigorous New World, sucking in fresh blood daily. Every race, every creed, every flavour. Darla appreciates good service. And feeds, lavishly.
