I went to the UCB theatre again tonight and it was fucking epic as usual. Doug Benson had the most fucking awesome guests on "I Love Movies"-- the cast of "Party Down," including sexy ass Ken Marino and Martin Starr who plays my fave character, sci-fi nerd Roman. When my friend and I were waiting to get into the show before I knew he was going to be on, he walked by me and I said to her "that guy is totally on a TV show" and she shrugged... I really want the "Party Down" DVDs now though! Honestly I'm still in fucking awe.
And then CDR was sooo fucking awesome... I need the CDs from most of the performers! Chris Fairbanks, some British guy named ???, Matt Braugner, who made my friend laugh so hard she cried, super adorable Nick Thune, and Podcaster extraordinaire and epic comedian Marc Maron... oh my god it's still unbelievable that I got to see all this so close up and all in one night. I've pretty much seen almost all of my most favorite comedians... I still need to see Stella (fat chance with them being NY snobs) and Maria Bamford and I can then die happy... :)
